We actually ended up driving all the way up to the Fossardalur Campsite (hint: super clean restrooms there) hunting for the falls! Very picturesque views ...

Fossárdalur. Fossárdalur valley takes its name from ... There is a beautiful waterfall just at the entrance of the valley, the name of that one is Nykurhylsfoss.
